Except where noted, services will be held at Beth Israel Congregation, 291 Main Street in Waterville. Other than the Rosh Hashana dinner, services are free and open to the public.

Selichot Services: Saturday, September 28, 7:30 pm.


Erev Rosh Hashana services and community dinner: Wednesday, October 2, 6:00 services and 7:00 dinner.

Rosh Hashana morning services: Thursday, October 3, and Friday, October 4, 9:00am

Tashlich, Thursday, October 3, 2:00pm at the boat launch across from Thayer Hospital (join us for a dairy potluck in between services and tashlich)

Yom Kippur

Kol Nidre services: Friday, October 11, 6pm

Yom Kippur morning services: Saturday, October 12, 9am

Mincha/Neila: Saturday, October 12, 6pm

Break the Fast dairy potluck: Saturday, October 12, 7:15pm

Sukkot, Shemini Atzeret, and Simchat Torah

Welcome in Sukkot/Erev Sukkot event: Wednesday, October 16, 6pm, Waterville Municipal Sukkah (Castonguay Square, 93 Main Street, Waterville). Please bring a vegetarian potluck item!

To RSVP to the Erev Rosh Hashana community meal, please email Mel Weiss with your name, the number in your party, and any serious food restrictions other than kashrut and vegetarianism. The cost of the meal is $25/person (children under 12 are free). You can pay online through our website’s donation page, or send a check to POB 1882, Waterville, ME 04903. Please do not bring money to the dinner. Cost should not be a barrier.
