The Story of Our “Little” Torah

Each Simchat Torah, the Beth Israel Congregation celebrates with and displays our “small Torah.” However, this small Torah has major significance, both to our synagogue community and to the family that brought this sacred text to Waterville. In this program, we will learn about our small Torah’s legendary journey from Eastern Europe to Waterville Maine through the Levine family.
